Man oh man have you ever really thought about what happens to your heart rate in an assault? It is totally crazy. To try and get a picture think back to a time when you were driving down the road and had a close call with either a pedestrian or another car...bam it hits you like a ton of bricks and no matter what you think you can not control it or stop it it is an involuntary response.

It is very informative and mind blowing that normally we do not even think about how our bodies are going to respond to something like an assault on ourselves or our family but with a little knowledge and practice we can expect it and use it to our advantage instead of it paralyzing us in a moment that action is required.
